The Arduous Work of June 6th

Well, I planned to spend some quality time with my mother last night, but she just wanted to watch a movie since she was so tired. So we both fell asleep to "These Old Broads" (very funny movie), and were going to go all around the city today to try and sell some books. I also wanted to buy a mirror for my room with the money I'd get from the books.
So we went to Green Apple and sold a couple of them, then bought East of Eden for the summer. I called my mom to find out where she double parked the car, and the battery had died! We spent about half an hour calling friends asking them if they had any jumper cables; they didn't. So we called insurance, and they said they would come asap. During our wait for them, my mom and I made a set for Table Manners (out of paper), then she tried starting the car. It drove for a couple blocks, but died again in the middle of an intersection.
We then proceeded to push our car four blocks (with the help of some strangers.) By this time, it's about 2:45.
So some strangers helped push our car and park it, and at this very moment, some Jeffrey guy is putting in a new battery and fixing everything.
This has been happening until 1:20... it's 6 p.m. now.

God... it was such a workout for my legs!
Hopefully I will get away with some friends tomorrow... I need it.
