Hmm, I looked at the calendar on my phone today and found out that there are 31 days in May... man I've never been good at remembering haha!

Anyways, I just finished making the first batch of lemon poppy seed cookies (my mom found a recipe in her Martha Stewart magazine, which will be very useful for when she leaves) and they look perfect!
The dough was weird... it was kind of short-bread-like... but anyways, I can't wait to try a cookie out!

One batch only made about 6 cookies... so I made 3 batches haha.
